Accommodation has been reserved on behalf of conference delegates at Arena Apartments South Brisbane, Novotel Brisbane South Bank and Rydges Hotel South Bank until Monday 6 January 2020.

Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the conference accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the registration process.

Cancellations and changes to your accommodation booking

Please notify your request for changes or cancellation directly to the Conference Secretariat. Each accommodation venue has its own cancellation policy from 30 days prior to arrival, ranging from a one night cancellation fee to 100% cancellation fee depending on the date of cancellation.

Please ensure you understand the cancellation policy for the accommodation venue you are booking.

Arrival time

Upon booking accommodation, please indicate your estimated time of arrival. If you wish to check-in before the official check-in time, it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival.

Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released and you will be charged a no-show fee.

Extending your stay

If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the conference, please specify the additional dates you require in the ‘special instructions’ field during the accommodation booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the accommodation venue before your reservation is fully confirmed.

A small number of rooms have been secured at Rydges Hotel South Bank and Novotel Brisbane South Bank for dates surrounding the conference at a higher rate. This is due to a lack of availability based on events in Brisbane at this time.

Payment of accommodation

Please note that payment of accommodation is NOT taken at the time of completing an online registration, however a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your room with the accommodation venue. Failure to provide a valid credit card will result in your room being released.

A wide range of credit cards are available for accommodation payment, based on your accommodation venue. Please ensure you are familiar with your accommodation venue’s payment policy.

Amenities such as Foxtel TV, secure undercover parking for 1 vehicle and unlimited Wi-Fi usage are also included for your convenience.

The 1 bedroom apartment accommodates 2 guests, however can be extended to 3 with the addition of a rollaway bed for $30 per night

Bedroom 2 Bathroom Apartment
Alike to the 1 bedroom apartments, the spacious 2 bedroom apartments are fully-self contained and include all features and amenities as mentioned above. They also include options for custom bed configurations, a dining table to accommodate 4 people and a large balcony and outdoor setting.
• The bedding configuration can be requested to be either 2 King beds, or up to 4 single beds
• The 2 bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests with the addition of a rollaway bed for $30 per night (subject to availability).

Check-In is available from 2:00pm. Check-Out is prior to 10:00am. Requests for early check-in and late check-out can be requested with the front desk

Apartments have one complimentary space available per apartment. Extra car parking spaces can be requested with the Reception team.

Payment

Arena Apartments will charge guests 50% of their total accommodation booking 30 days prior to arrival to the credit card they provide when booking. Arena Apartments will then charge guests the remaining 50% of their total accommodation booking 7 days prior to arrival. Failure to provide valid credit card details 30 days prior to arrival will result in the cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check-in will result in a 100% cancellation fee for bookings of 1 to 3 nights. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check-in for bookings for more than 3 nights will result in a minimum 3 night cancellation fee.
